DTF Printing – Frequently Asked Questions
What is DTF printing?
DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a process where your design is printed onto a special film and then heat-pressed onto the garment or item. It allows full-color, high-detail prints on a wide range of materials.
What type of files do you accept?
We recommend PNG files at 300 DPI with a fully transparent background for the best print quality.
Do I need to mirror my artwork?
No. Please do not mirror your artwork. We print your files exactly as they are received.
What resolution should my artwork be?
Your artwork should be at least 300 DPI to avoid pixelation or blurry prints.
What size should I upload my design?
Upload your artwork at the exact size you want it printed. We do not resize, edit, or adjust artwork once it is submitted.
Can I upload screenshots or low-quality images?
We do not recommend using screenshots or low-quality images. Your transfers will only look as good as the file provided, so please upload high-resolution artwork.
How do I apply the DTF transfer?
General guidelines (may vary by press and material):
• Temperature: 285–315°F
• Time: 10–15 seconds
• Pressure: Medium to firm
• Peel: Cold peel and Hot peel
After peeling, press again for 5–10 seconds with parchment paper or a finishing sheet for best results.
What materials can DTF transfers be applied to?
DTF transfers can be applied to cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, canvas, tote bags, hoodies, jeans, and more.
How long do DTF transfers last?
When properly applied and cared for, DTF transfers are durable and can last through many washes while maintaining their color and detail.
Do you offer gang sheets?
Yes, we offer gang sheets so you can place multiple designs on one sheet and save on printing costs. Available sizes and pricing can be found on our product pages.

Processing times may vary depending on order volume. Most orders are processed within our standard turnaround time listed on the website. Orders placed after 3:00 PM may begin processing the next business day.
Do you offer rush orders?
Yes, rush options may be available. If your order was placed after 3:00 PM and you require expedited processing, please contact us via email. We will review your request and do our best to accommodate.
Can you edit or fix my artwork?
No. Artwork must be print-ready before it is uploaded. We do not modify, correct, or clean up files. Your transfers will be printed exactly as the artwork is provided.
Will colors print exactly as they appear on my screen?
Not always. Screens display color in RGB, while DTF printing uses CMYK. Some color variation is normal and expected between what you see on your device and the final printed transfer.
