How to Apply Our DTF Transfers

For best results, always test one transfer before beginning full production. Presses may vary in temperature and pressure, so use these settings as your baseline.

🔥 Heat Press Settings for Cotton & Cotton Blends

  • Temperature: 315°F
  • Time: 10 seconds
  • Pressure: Heavy pressure
  • Peel: Hot peel or cold peel

Second Press (Cotton):

  • Temperature: 315°F
  • Time: 5 seconds
  • Use parchment or a finishing sheet

💧 Heat Press Settings for Polyester Materials

  • Temperature: 285°F
  • Time: 5 seconds
  • Pressure: Light pressure
  • Peel: Cold peel only

Second Press (Polyester):

  • Temperature: 285°F
  • Time: 3 seconds
  • Use parchment or a finishing sheet

🧵 Before You Start

  1. Preheat your heat press.
  2. Pre-press your garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  3. Ensure the garment is flat, smooth, and lint-free.

📌 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Position the transfer ink-side down (film side facing up) on your garment.
  2. Cover with parchment or a finishing sheet.
  3. Press using the correct temperature, pressure, and time based on the fabric type.
  4. Peel carefully:
    • Cotton: Hot peel or cold peel
    • Polyester: Cold peel only
  5. Second Press: Cover again and press for the recommended time.

🧺 Washing & Care Instructions

  • Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash.
  • Wash inside out on cold.
  • Use mild detergent—no bleach.
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry.
  • Do not iron directly on the print.

⚠️ Troubleshooting Tips

  • Edges lifting: Add 1–2 more seconds or increase pressure slightly.
  • Film not peeling: Allow to cool more (for cold peel) or increase pressure slightly.
  • Design feels rough: Perform a longer second press with parchment.

Note: Heat presses vary. Minor adjustments may be needed depending on your equipment.
